Job Title: Procurement Specialist

The company is seeking an experienced and organised Procurement Specialist to manage material sourcing, supplier relationships and purchasing activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers of construction and furniture materials.
  • Obtain and analyse quotations to secure competitive prices, quality and value for money.
  • Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials.
  • Ensure purchased materials meet specified quality standards and technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Track deliveries, resolve supply chain issues and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in construction, furniture manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, furniture components, fittings and finishing materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement or inventory management tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
