Job Summary
Vitafoam Nigeria Plc is seeking a proactive and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, coordinate factory teams and ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise shift production output to meet daily targets, quality standards and timelines.
- Allocate personnel efficiently across production lines to minimise downtime and labour waste.
- Monitor shop-floor processes and ensure compliance with HSE requirements, cleanliness standards and SOPs.
- Prepare accurate shift reports covering production output, downtime, raw material usage and scrap rates.
- Identify production bottlenecks and work with maintenance teams to resolve equipment faults promptly.
Requirements
- OND only in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ direct production-floor experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of shop-floor workflows, basic machine operations and safety standards.
- Good leadership, communication and shift-coordination skills.
Note: This position is strictly open to OND holders. Candidates with HND, B.Sc. or higher qualifications will not be considered. Candidates without prior factory or production experience will also be disqualified.
