Job Responsibilities
- Test and approve incoming raw materials to ensure they meet internal specifications and supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Monitor paint batches during production and inspect finished products before release.
- Maintain accurate records of quality tests, batch numbers, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Identify non-conforming products and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in quality control or laboratory operations.
- Experience in the paint, coatings, or chemical industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of paint properties and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using QC laboratory instruments.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
