M-KOPA is recruiting to fill the position of Retail Operations Officer in Benin City, Edo State. The successful candidate will oversee retail operations across assigned locations, manage inventory, coordinate reverse logistics and repairs, and supervise retail operations staff.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across retail shops, depots and stock points to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage stock reconciliations, replenish understocked products and maintain approved stock levels across active and newly onboarded Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs).
- Coordinate aged stock returns, stock reallocations and lost phone reporting while ensuring compliance with reverse logistics procedures.
- Manage phone repair logistics, ensuring devices reach repair centres and are returned to customers within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Supervise, coach and train Retail Coordinators, Stock Controllers and Shop Assistants on operational processes, products, systems and service standards.
- Monitor retail performance indicators, conduct regular shop inspections and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Repairs and Customer Service teams to improve retail operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, logistics, supply chain, inventory management or field operations.
- At least two years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Proven experience managing inventory, stock reconciliation, reverse logistics and retail operations across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in retail management systems, inventory management tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational, supervisory and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and resolve operational challenges in a hands-on environment.
