Hilton Hotels & Resort is recruiting a qualified Security Manager to oversee security operations and facility safety at DoubleTree by Hilton, Owerri, ensuring the protection of guests, employees and hotel property.
The successful candidate will lead the security team, implement effective security procedures, manage emergency responses and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and hotel safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, supervise and mentor security team members, conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Implement security protocols to protect guests, employees and property while ensuring compliance with local regulations and hotel brand standards.
- Oversee security patrols, identify potential risks and take proactive measures to address safety and security concerns.
- Support investigations into accidents, theft, property loss and policy violations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Manage on-site emergency responses involving fires, medical incidents and safety hazards, coordinating with relevant teams as necessary.
- Liaise with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies on security-related matters when required.
- Review and maintain security reports, incident records and compliance documentation.
- Support the hotel leadership team by undertaking duty manager responsibilities when required.
- Ensure compliance with established safety procedures and hotel operational standards.
