Hilton Hotels & Resort is seeking a qualified Executive Housekeeper to oversee daily housekeeping operations at DoubleTree by Hilton, Owerri, and maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, service and facility presentation throughout the hotel.
The successful candidate will manage housekeeping resources, oversee budgets and inventory, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and lead a high-performing team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of housekeeping operations, including system management, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control and policy implementation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service and product quality in guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and meeting areas.
- Collaborate with Property Operations and other departments on rehabilitation and capital improvement projects to enhance hotel facilities.
- Improve team engagement and retention through performance management, professional development and employee recognition programmes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly those governing the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Monitor housekeeping resources and ensure efficient use of equipment, materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain hotel facilities and uphold established service standards.
Requirements
Candidates should have the leadership, organisational and operational management skills required to oversee housekeeping activities in a hospitality environment.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage budgets, control inventory, maintain high cleanliness standards, supervise staff and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements. Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills are also essential.
