Job Summary
The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing oilfield trucks and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of oilfield trucks.
- Troubleshoot and repair transmission systems and heavy-duty engines.
- Maintain Perkins and Caterpillar engines.
- Service Renault truck chassis.
- Carry out maintenance on Wireline (WL) and Slickline (SLK) oilfield trucks.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance planning and documentation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Strong experience with transmission systems and Perkins and Caterpillar engines.
- Experience working with Renault truck chassis.
- Proven experience maintaining Wireline (WL) and Slickline (SLK) oilfield trucks.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Relevant technical training certification.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively in a high-performance environment.
