Job Summary
Westmead Supermarket is seeking experienced and result-driven individuals to join its team as Supermarket Managers. The ideal candidates should possess strong leadership, customer service, inventory management, sales and team-management skills, with the ability to effectively oversee supermarket operations and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
- Lead, supervise and coordinate supermarket staff to ensure effective performance.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock management.
- Drive sales and support the achievement of business targets.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer concerns effectively.
- Ensure the supermarket is properly organised, clean and well-presented.
- Monitor product availability, displays and pricing.
- Prepare and review relevant sales, inventory and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
General Requirements
- Relevant educational qualification and professional certifications where applicable.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail/business environment.
