Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Officer to support purchasing, procurement, vendor management, SAP processes, compliance, and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of purchasing processes with company rules, applicable laws, regulations, JV/PSC requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Ensure proper administration, filing, and documentation of purchasing records, approvals, justifications, and circulation forms.
  • Track and issue weekly P2P reports covering duplicate documents, rejected documents, and overdue PRs, POs, and SES in SAP.
  • Track and follow up on un-invoiced Service Completion Certificates (JPC) issued to contractors to facilitate timely payment processing.
  • Carry out decentralised service procurement transactions below USD 50,000.
  • Create, process, and follow up on call-off Purchase Orders for company contracts.
  • Process PO workflows and issue Purchase Orders to vendors.
  • Create and follow up on Purchase Requisitions from documented requests through approvals to issuance.
  • Create material and service PRs, including documentation review, clarification, SAP entry, internal validation, and approval follow-up.
  • Provide initial estimates with users for internal release and cost-control purposes.
  • Create and process Service Progress Certifications (JPC), including documentation vetting and issuance to vendors through to invoicing.
  • Support preliminary invoice processing for MM contracts and monitor payment defaults.
  • Interface with Stock Controllers, Contract Engineers, Buyers, Technical Users, Cost Control, Finance, and UNISUP on C&P activities.
  • Manage vendor follow-up and expedition activities for C&P operations.
  • Serve as a first-level C&P interface and helpdesk for technical entities.
  • Monitor user operational activities to ensure compliance with C&P procedures and company rules.
  • Handle PO, SES, and PR amendments, SAP entries, reports, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with company general conditions, group business rules, ethics, and purchasing terms.
  • Maintain effective follow-up with departments served and contribute to supply chain performance monitoring.
  • Ensure effective use of e-sourcing and other C&P tools.
  • Collaborate with relevant P2P stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of vendor payment issues.
  • Plan and coordinate Quartet and Quintet meetings, including reports, minutes, action points, and follow-up.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and other activity reports as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure 100% compliance with company rules, SOX requirements, and applicable local regulations.
  • Support timely procurement of services and prompt payment to ensure smooth company operations.
  • Ensure purchases achieve the best possible balance between lead time, value, and quality.
  • Ensure user requirements and procurement deadlines are met to minimise operational disruptions.

Requirements

  • Degree or HND in Engineering, Management, Purchasing and Supply, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies in Supply Chain or operational functions will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with relevant supply chain experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP or related procurement software will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose innovative and practical solutions.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
