Job Summary

The Technical Hub Manager will oversee resource allocation, operational efficiency and performance management across the technical hubs. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth disconnection and reconnection processes, timely fault resolution and compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient deployment of resources within the technical hubs to support business objectives.
  • Supervise disconnection, reconnection and technical fault resolution teams, ensuring assigned tasks are prioritised effectively.
  • Monitor hub performance through Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs) and provide insights through weekly reports.
  • Ensure all technical hub activities comply with agreed SLAs.
  • Propose and implement strategies to improve hub performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business units, control centres and support departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee power equipment restoration efforts and ensure timely resolution of system downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience in a related sector or organisation.
  • Demonstrable understanding of logistics and distribution management processes.
  • Experience suitable for a managerial position at Manager to Senior Manager level.
