Job Summary
The Treasury Officer will support the management of the company’s cash flow, banking activities, payments, and liquidity while ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with established financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and cash flow requirements.
- Process and monitor payments, transfers, and other treasury transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with banks on account-related matters and transactions.
- Monitor company bank balances and ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of treasury transactions and supporting documents.
- Support foreign exchange transactions and monitor applicable rates where required.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, approval limits, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant treasury records.
- Identify and report unusual transactions, discrepancies, or financial risks.
