Role Purpose
The Compliance Officer will support WAEP’s legal and regulatory compliance framework by monitoring obligations, maintaining compliance controls and records, coordinating compliance reviews, and promoting ethical and policy-compliant conduct across the company’s upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the corporate compliance register and track applicable statutory, regulatory, contractual and internal compliance obligations.
- Support the implementation and periodic review of compliance policies, procedures, controls and monitoring plans.
- Conduct compliance reviews and assist in identifying gaps, exceptions and corrective actions.
- Track agreed compliance actions to closure and escalate overdue or material issues appropriately.
- Support due diligence and compliance screening of relevant third parties, vendors and counterparties.

Role Purpose
