About the Job
SANY Nigeria is seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to support the daily operations of its heavy equipment spare parts warehouse in Lagos. The role is suited to a warehouse and inventory professional who can manage large volumes of stock, maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the efficient movement of spare parts from receipt through to customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive overseas container shipments and verify spare parts against packing lists.
- Sort received inventory and ensure proper storage in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and physical warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Support high standards of inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack and document spare parts for customer delivery.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure inventory movements are properly recorded.
- Ensure spare parts are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Record inventory transactions accurately and in real time.
- Monitor stock movements and maintain inventory visibility.
- Use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting.
Requirements
- ND, HND or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management, logistics or a related role.
- Proven experience handling large inventories and high volumes of SKUs.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or equivalent inventory modules.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching inventory.
- Ability to operate a forklift is required for the safe handling of heavy equipment and industrial components.
- Willingness to work overtime when operational requirements demand.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
- Candidates residing within or close to Asese, Ibafo, Mowe, Magboro, Arepo, Berger and surrounding areas are strongly preferred.
