Job Description:
Polaris Bank invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Business Development Manager (BDM). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales teams, overseeing a portfolio of key customers, driving customer uptake of new and existing products, and offering comprehensive business banking solutions. This role requires integrating and coordinating all Polaris Bank products, services, and resources to maximize the value of business relationships, ensuring profitability for both the bank and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sales teams within a branch.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of key customers.
- Drive customer engagement and uptake of both new and existing banking products.
- Offer full business banking propositions tailored to the financial needs of businesses within the region.
- Ensure the integration of Polaris Bank’s products and services to maximize value in business relationships.
- Report to the region’s Business Group Head.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in business development or a related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Local market expertise.
