Job Summary
Sayed Farms Limited is seeking a skilled and hands-on CCTV Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV surveillance systems across its facilities. The successful candidate will ensure reliable system performance, effective monitoring, and minimal downtime of security equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and related surveillance equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and repairs on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve faults involving cameras, cabling, power supplies, recording devices, and network connectivity.
- Configure IP cameras, remote viewing, and mobile monitoring applications where required.
- Inspect CCTV installations to ensure proper camera positioning and coverage of designated areas.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment replacements.
- Coordinate with the IT and Security teams to resolve surveillance system issues and improve system reliability.
- Ensure proper handling of equipment, compliance with company security procedures, and safe working practices.
Requirements
- HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
- Practical knowledge of analogue and IP CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and structured cabling.
- Basic understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and remote surveillance configuration.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel to company facilities when required.
