Emerson is inviting applications for its 2026 Graduate Programme – Pipeline, designed to develop future engineering and business leaders through formal training and practical experience in technical and commercial operations.

Successful candidates will gain exposure to sales engineering, business development, customer relationship management and service delivery while working with experienced professionals across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Participate actively in development programmes and acquire relevant technical and commercial skills.
Deliver assigned internship projects to a high standard.
Collaborate with sales, service and local business partner teams across the region.
Work with service engineers and sales and business development teams to improve service delivery and sales performance in Nigeria.
Support the development and implementation of regional sales and service strategies.
Collaborate with other Emerson business units to maximise business opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with customers and promote awareness of Emerson’s products and solutions.
Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about product developments, industry changes and market trends.
Maintain accurate records of business activities in line with company policies.
Ensure compliance with Emerson’s ethics, international trade compliance and ITC policies.
Demonstrate commitment, collaboration and a willingness to learn throughout the programme.

Requirements

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a relevant science discipline, including Physics, Chemistry, Geology or Computer Science.
Minimum of Second Class Upper Division from a recognised university.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, or possession of a discharge or exemption certificate by September 2025.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in English.
Must not be older than 26 years.

Preferred Qualifications

Between 0 and 2 years of postgraduate work experience.
Oil and gas industry experience is an advantage.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
A strong interest in achieving positive business results.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.
A proactive, action-oriented approach to work.
