Job Summary
The Procurement Trainee will support the procurement team in sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring efficient procurement processes. This programme is designed to equip graduates with practical knowledge and professional experience in procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sourcing and procurement of materials and services.
- Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Support inventory and stock reconciliation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) or Lower Credit.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Must be willing to work in Lagos or Sagamu, Ogun State.
