Job Description
Greenville LNG is seeking qualified candidates for the position of LCNG Operator/Dispenser. The successful candidate will operate CNG and LNG station equipment safely and efficiently, assist customers with gas refuelling and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNG and LNG station equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers with refuelling vehicles and skids with gas.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Station Manager.
- Generate reports on station sales, gas usage and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of gas transactions, equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Keep the station clean and organised.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on station equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and inspections.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of gas dispensed and transactions.
- Implement emergency response procedures when required.
- Coordinate with emergency services during emergency situations.
- Comply with all applicable safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain appropriate records.
- Participate in safety training programmes.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Educate customers on CNG and LNG fuelling procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of National Diploma in a science- or engineering-based course.
- Candidates with SSCE and at least 2 years of experience operating LPG, CNG, LNG or liquid-fuel dispensers for vehicles and industrial users are also eligible.
- Strong knowledge of CNG and LNG safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sales reconciliation skills.
