Job Description
Greenville LNG is seeking an experienced Station Manager to oversee the operations, sales and business development activities of its LNG and LCNG stations. The successful candidate will supervise station staff, manage customers, ensure compliance with HSE requirements and drive sales and revenue growth.
The Station Manager will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, managing operational records, developing market opportunities and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise LNG and LCNG supply, sales and documentation.
- Manage operators, auxiliary staff and clients in accordance with company rules and regulations.
- Ensure operators use appropriate PPE and comply with HSE requirements.
- Ensure station installations and equipment remain in good working condition.
- Oversee power supply and routine servicing and maintenance of generating sets.
- Ensure staff and clients comply with safety measures within the station and host community.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and tools.
- Promote LNG and LCNG to the general public and potential customers.
- Coordinate sales activities with team members and other departments.
- Use historical sales data and market trends to set targets and monitor performance.
- Identify sales opportunities among transporters, businesses and trade associations.
- Develop customer rewards and gather feedback to improve products and services.
- Monitor market prices to remain competitive while protecting profit margins.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders to secure better deals and increase customer traffic.
- Improve profitability through effective expense and cost management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Candidates with an Engineering background and extensive commercial experience may also be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in an administrative or sales role.
- Experience in FMCG, logistics, CNG stations, LPG stations or tank farms is required.
- Proven ability to maintain good work ethics, records, files and reporting systems.
- Strong sales, business development, networking and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of LPG and CNG station management.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- HSE leadership experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
