Job Summary

The Studio Manager will oversee the daily operations of the radio station’s studio, ensuring that equipment, facilities and production activities run smoothly. The successful candidate will coordinate studio operations, support programme production and work with presenters, producers and technical personnel to maintain professional broadcasting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the radio studio.
• Ensure studio equipment is properly set up, functional and ready for broadcasts.
• Supervise studio personnel and coordinate production activities.
• Work with presenters, producers, editors and technical staff to ensure smooth programme delivery.
• Monitor studio schedules and ensure programmes run according to plan.
• Oversee the proper handling and maintenance of studio equipment.
• Identify technical or operational issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Ensure the studio remains organised and complies with relevant safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
• Relevant experience in studio management, radio broadcasting or media production is required.
• Good knowledge of radio studio equipment and broadcast production workflows.
• Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work under pressure.
