About Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD)
Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD) is a Nigerian organisation established in 2019 to provide care and support to people affected by the insurgency and humanitarian crisis in Northeast Nigeria. The foundation was established in response to the growing needs of vulnerable children, adults and communities affected by prolonged conflict.CASFOD initially focused on education, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and nutrition programmes across affected communities in the Northeast. Its work has been supported by staff capacity building, targeted interventions and collaboration with other humanitarian agencies.
As crises have spread to other parts of Nigeria, CASFOD has sought to extend its services to additional affected regions. The organisation continues to draw on its experience in humanitarian response, community support and institutional strengthening to address the needs of vulnerable populations.
