Job Summary
The Direct Sales Agent Coordinator will drive customer acquisition and promote the Bank’s retail banking products and services through the Direct Sales Agent (DSA) channel. The role involves monitoring agent performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, providing coaching and support, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to achieve sales targets, improve productivity, and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Drive the sale of retail banking products and services, including accounts, deposits, loans, and digital banking solutions through the DSA channel.
Monitor and evaluate DSA performance to ensure achievement of assigned sales, customer acquisition, and funding targets.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, regulatory requirements, and the Bank’s policies during customer onboarding and sales activities.
Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and engagement activities to improve DSA productivity, retention, and customer service delivery.
Prepare and analyse performance reports, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve DSA effectiveness and business outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking, sales, business development, or customer acquisition.
Good knowledge of banking products, services, and customer onboarding processes.
Understanding of KYC, AML/CFT, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to analyse data and prepare reports.

The successful candidate will originate, develop, and manage corporate client relationships, drive revenue growth, identify business opportunities, conduct credit analysis, and prepare high-quality Credit Approval Memoranda (CAM) for credit requests. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of assigned sectors, understand industry-specific value chains and business dynamics, and demonstrate strong relationship management and credit analysis capabilities.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management
Develop and manage profitable relationships with corporate clients across various sectors.
Identify new business opportunities and grow the Bank’s corporate customer base.
Maintain regular engagement with existing and prospective clients to understand their banking needs.
Deliver tailored banking solutions while ensuring a superior customer experience.
Business Development
Drive the acquisition of quality corporate accounts and revenue-generating opportunities.
Market the Bank’s products and services to existing and potential customers.
Achieve assigned financial and business development targets.
Increase wallet share and market penetration within assigned portfolios.
Credit Analysis and CAM Preparation
Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis of corporate customers.
Prepare comprehensive and high-quality Credit Approval Memoranda (CAM) for credit facilities and renewals.
Assess credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigating measures.
Present credit proposals to internal approval committees where required.
Monitor approved credit facilities and ensure compliance with credit terms and conditions.
Sector Coverage and Advisory
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Power & Infrastructure, Agriculture & Non-Oil Exports, Manufacturing, Large Corporates, and Conglomerates.
Understand sector trends, market developments, key risks, and business opportunities.
Provide industry insights and advisory support to clients and internal stakeholders.
Portfolio Management
Monitor portfolio performance and ensure asset quality.
Minimise non-performing loans through proactive portfolio monitoring.
Ensure timely renewal of facilities and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Prepare portfolio reviews and management reports as required.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks in line with regulatory guidelines.
Identify and escalate emerging risks within customer portfolios.
Requirements
3–7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, or Credit Analysis.
Demonstrated experience managing clients in one or more of the specified sectors.
Proven ability to originate and structure corporate banking transactions.
Strong understanding of corporate financial statements and credit assessment techniques.
Extensive experience in preparing and defending Credit Approval Memoranda (CAM).
Strong knowledge of lending processes, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to identify business opportunities and convert prospects into profitable banking relationships.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management capabilities.
