Jaza Energy is recruiting an Administrative Officer to support its Abuja operations. The successful candidate will help maintain an organised, efficient and productive work environment while providing administrative and clerical support to staff and management.

Job Overview

The Administrative Officer will serve as a key point of support for office-related needs, managing daily administrative activities and ensuring staff have the resources and support required to work effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including office supplies and general upkeep.
  • Manage office reception and staff and guest entry and exit control.
  • Maintain and organise company records, documents and databases.
  • Assist with visa, pass and permit applications.
  • Arrange transport, flight and hotel bookings for company visitors and staff when required.
  • Design, print and distribute staff ID cards.
  • Coordinate general office cleaning and security services.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers and landlords on office-related matters.
  • Assist with basic HR, finance and procurement tasks, including filing receipts and tracking expenses.
  • Provide general administrative support to management and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes.
  • Dispatch and deliver correspondence to appropriate offices and collect parcels when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Diploma, OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, International Relations or a Social Science field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy when handling information, reports and administrative tasks.
  • Sound written and oral English communication skills.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • People-centric and purpose-driven approach.
  • Strong sense of accountability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a consultative approach with colleagues and supervisors.
